Exo Tao sells double slope sanitary pads after SM trainee's marriage for 30 minutes, 4.3 billion jackpots

According to Hong Kong's South China Morning Post (SCMP), Tao broadcasted a live broadcast at his sanitary pad factory on the 18th. On this day, Tao sold a box of 62 sanitary pads for 49.8 yuan (about 7,000 won). The sanitary pad sold 450,000 boxes within 30 minutes of the broadcast and recorded sales of 22.5 million yuan (about 4.3 billion won).
In March, Tao set up his own sanitary pad brand Domaiwei in anger at the fact that some sanitary pad factories in China had already repackaged and sold used sanitary pads and baby diapers at high prices. He invested 275 million yuan (about 52.5 billion won) to directly purchase factories and install equipment, and devoted himself to product development.
Tao said "My wife Xu Yi has tested three to four versions of sanitary pads herself, and although they are not perfect, they are clean and safe. This work is done out of responsibility for women and is not for profit."
Thao debuted as an EXO member in 2012, but in 2015, he left the team without permission due to a leg injury and filed a lawsuit with SM Entertainment (SM) to invalidate the exclusive contract. However, the court ruled in favor of SM. Since then, Tao has worked in China and inherited his father's $3 billion (about 4.128 trillion won) inheritance in 2020.
Thao married Xu Yi, a former SM Rookies who has been dating since 2020, in December last year.
