On the 14th, Kim Jong-un posted a photo of himself watching the play 'Hedda Gabler' on his personal account. The play will be performed until June 8 at LG Art Center's LG Signature Hall, starring Lee Young-ae returning to the stage after about 20 years.
The released photo showed Kim Jong-un posing after watching the stage with Lee Young-ae as well as broadcaster Baek Ji-yeon, former announcer Noh Hyun-jung and actor Baek Ji-won. Networking that encompasses not only the entertainment industry but also the business world drew attention.
Kim Jong-un said, "This kind of power to a slender sister! I was surprised" and "When I saw a wonderful sister challenging this stage, I felt both respect and envy at the same time. I came to reflect on myself whether I was living a comfortable life as an actor."
Then, regarding Lee Young-ae's close-up scene on stage "It was so pretty, but it was different from the familiar face, and it was my first time seeing a face that was hard to explain in words, so I felt crazy alone.", expressing a deep emotion.
In response, Lee Young-ae also showed off her friendship by leaving a comment "Thank you, Jeong-eun".
