A 20-something public service worker killed him..Body found in apartment fire

'Brave Detectives 4' revealed the tenacious investigation of detectives who solved the mystery case.

In the 40th episode of the T-Cast E-Channel 'Brave Detectives4' (directed by Lee Ji-sun), which aired on the 27th, Inspector Park Ki-hoon, the head of the Incheon Yeonsu Police Station's violent team, former police officer Yoon Oe-chul, and Inspector Kim Jin-soo appeared to solve the investigation.

The first incident began with a report that someone was bleeding on an eight-lane road sidewalk. The victim had died wearing only a blood-soaked running shirt. The victim was a taxi driver in his 40s, and it was all the more regrettable because he was a sincere breadwinner with a one-year-old child. The victim's taxi, which was not at the scene, was found in smoke in a residential area about five minutes away by car. In the car, the vehicle manual was used as a fire starter. Nearby CCTV captured two busy men, one of whom was carrying the victim's uniform top. In addition to the victim's blood, four traces of the criminal's blood were found, but it was difficult to find except that he was a type B man with scientific investigation technology at the time. The suspect vehicle was also spotted, but it was difficult to identify, and there was no DNA match, so it was left as an unsolved case.

Twelve years later, amid a reinvestigation of the case, Detective Park Ki-hoon, who joined the unmade team, looked at the photo of the taxi again and suspected the source of the vehicle's manual. There was no sign of digging inside, so the criminal could have brought it in advance. Three new notes could be found through vehicle manuals kept as evidence. It then estimated the type of vehicle, series, and shipping connection, and investigated about 100,000 units, which could reduce the number of suspects to 300. On top of that, when the list of vehicles was investigated at the time of the existing investigation, one person with the same fingerprint came out. But he handed the vehicle over to someone else a month ago. After continued investigation, Choi (pseudonym) was identified among the two suspects. Choi rushed to sell the car four days after the crime and fled to the province. After finding all Choi's records, he secured tissues that he threw away from the company's cafeteria and obtained DNA matching results.

Choi, who was arrested for the first time in 16 years, said, "I don't remember." The accomplice was a year older than Choi. The accomplice only admitted robbery and postponed the murder because Choi committed it. He claimed that he committed the crime in a taxi he accidentally boarded, and that the victim, who was trapped in a bag, escaped and Choi chased him and killed him. However, forensic examination revealed that it was a crime that could only be done by two people together. Still, the accomplice refused to admit the crime of murder, and Choi never admitted the crime, and they were eventually sentenced to life imprisonment.

The case introduced by KCSI then began with a report that the top house of an apartment seemed to have caught fire. However, there was no flame in the smoke-filled interior living room, but there was a separate flame elsewhere, which was different from the usual fire scene. Unfortunately, the body of a burned woman was found in blankets and clothing. The victim was a homeowner and a woman in her 40s living alone. The entrance-assisted lock is a form that can only be pressed inside the house, and it seems that the criminal did not go through the door but moved over the veranda and rooftop roof, surprising everyone. Checking the list of nearby criminals, a man in his 20s, a public service worker, was noted among the residents across the street from the victim's house. He claimed that he was a juvenile protection officer for special robbery when he was a minor, and that he did not remember because he returned home drunk after working on the day of the incident.

While the victim's cell phone was found as an acquisition in the bathroom of the intercity bus terminal, the offender made about 20 calls after the crime, most of which were known as paid 'poning' numbers, further angering him. He also called 114 and asked for a laundry number, and said that blood was found at the end of the brown Mustang sleeve at the laundry he visited based on this, and that he was an acquaintance. The culprit was a man in his 20s who worked for the public service. He admitted to the crime and claimed that the robbery and sexual crime intentions were the motive. After setting the fire, he said he headed to the rooftop to live because the door didn't open, and showed no remorse, and he was sentenced to only 15 years in prison, angering everyone.
