Actor shot dead near home..Same-sex spouse "killed by homosexuals"

According to local media, including the U.S. Associated Press, Jonathan Joss was found shot and collapsed by a gunman near his southern home in San Antonio, Texas, at around 7 p.m. on the 1st (local time).
Police tried to take emergency measures, but Jonathan Joss was already dead when the paramedics arrived.
In connection with Jonathan Joss' death, Tristan Ken de González, the deceased's same-sex spouse, said he and the deceased had been repeatedly bullied in the community for sexual orientation, and that the perpetrator at the time of the incident had hurled "violent homophobic abuse" before the shooting.
He also confessed in tears that Jonathan Jos pushed him away and was shot instead. The two reportedly married on Valentine's Day on February 14.
Shortly after the incident, a 56-year-old man was arrested on charges of murder, but local police said there was no evidence to date relating to the victim's sexual orientation" made a statement.
Jonathan Joss was greatly loved for voicing indigenous characters 'John Redcon' on 'King of the Hill', which ran for 13 seasons from 1997 to 2010.
In particular, his sudden sad news is even more regrettable, as the reboot of King of the Hill" was scheduled to air in August.
