BTS Suga Donates 5 Billion Won to Launch Autism Treatment Center

ARMY (official fan club) responded to the group BTS Suga's good deed.

Suga established a specialized treatment center for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder 'Min Yoongi Treatment Center' at Severance Hospital on the 23rd. Suga not only donated 5 billion won, but also worked hard on talent donation by meeting children in person and teaching them how to play musical instruments, and also participated in the development of treatment programs.

This donation is the largest artist in the entire Yonsei Medical Center. The single donation of celebrities is the highest amount in Korea's history. No matter how much BTS reigns as a world star, it is hard to imagine an individual willing to pay 5 billion won.

Moreover, Sugar has been making steady donations to the Children's Cancer Foundation in 2019, 100 million won for the recovery of COVID-19 damage in 2020, 100 million won for the treatment of pediatric cancer patients at Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital in 2021, 100 million won for the recovery of forest fire damage in 2022, 100 million won for the recovery of earthquake damage in Turkiye in 2023, and 100 million won for the recovery of forest fire damage, adding to the warmth.

ARMY responded to Suga's sincerity. ARMYs started a donation relay through SNS. They are conducting a certification relay by voluntarily donating the development fund to the 「Min Yoongi Treatment Center」.

BTS and ARMY are once again creating a virtuous cycle structure in which good deeds lead to good deeds.

BTS completed its military service as Suga was relieved of his call-up from the social service personnel on the 21st. They are preparing for a full comeback in the second half of the year.
