IU Targeted Again Malicious Commenter Fined for Second Time



A malicious commenter in his 40s who bullied singer IU was fined additionally.

The Seoul Central District Court's Criminal Chamber 20 (Chief Judge Lim Jung-bin) recently fined A (40), who was indicted on charges of insult, 3 million won.

In February last year, A is accused of posting a comment that causes sexual shame on the news related to IU's agency, saying, `Did you bribe the judge?'

However, the court said "The defendant wrote the comment referring to the victim. This is content that could undermine the social evaluation of the victim's personal value. "Denying the crime, he did not repent, did not receive forgiveness from the victim, and had a history of criminal punishment twice for the same crime."

However, the fact that A had no previous criminal record of exceeding the fine served as a reason for sentencing.




A was also fined 3 million won in December last year for posting four comments disparaging IU's costume and singing skills. He is mentally ill, and his writing skills lag behind. I hope for relief..." he said, drawing public outrage.
