Shim Eunkyung Joins Ha Jung-woo in tvN Drama ‘Building Owner’

On the 26th, the agency Fanfare announced that Shim Eun-kyung will appear in tvN's new drama 'How to Be a Building Owner in Korea' (hereinafter 'Building Owner'). In addition to the fact that it is Shim Eun-kyung's return work, it is already attracting attention as the most anticipated work in the first half of 2026 due to its stellar lineup such as Jungwoo Ha, Lim Soo-jung, Kim Jun-han, and Jung Soo-jung.
'Builders' is a work about a livelihood building owner who was struggling with debt stepping into crime to protect his family and building. Jungwoo Ha plays the role of Ki-jong, the main character in the play, and Shim Eun-kyung plays Jonah, a real capital practitioner who pursues and presses him. Jonah is a person with a background of being adopted abroad as a child and brings tension to the story with an unidentified aura.
Shim Eun-kyung has made her presence known with her unrivaled acting skills, including films 'Sunny', 'Suspicious Her' and the recently released 'The Killers' in Japan. In particular, in 2020, he became the first Korean actor to win the Best Actress Award at the Japanese Academy Awards, establishing a global presence.
Shim Eun-kyung returns to Korean dramas for the first time in six years since "Money Game". Attention is focusing on her unusual face and acting transformation in Builders.
