Ahn Jae-wook caught among chaebol heads...Inviting the 'Original Korean Wave Godfather' Presidential Dinner

Actor Ahn Jae-wook drew attention as he was spotted at the same meeting as the president and heads of the political and business circles.
Ahn Jae-wook attended a state dinner between Korea and Vietnam hosted by President Lee Jae-myung at the Cheong Wa Dae guesthouse on the 11th with Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, Yongbum Kim's presidential office policy chief, and Kim Tae-nyeon, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea.
A total of 66 people from academia, culture and sports, including Ahn Jae-wook and Park Hang-seo, former coach of the Vietnamese national soccer team, who received the Order of Labor and Appreciation from the Vietnamese government, were present.
The Korean Wave is currently very popular in Vietnam. Many Vietnamese people love K-dramas and various K-pop songs, including `Crash Landing on Love', 'Reply 1998', 'Descendants of the Sun', as well as 'The Glory' starring Song Hye-kyo, which was recently popular on Netflix.
Vietnam's Hallyu fever is believed to have begun in earnest in 1997 when so-called K-dramas, such as dramas starring Jang Dong-gun and Lee Young-ae, and stars Ahn Jae-wook and Choi Jin-sil, were aired in Vietnam.
