The 69th Miss Korea Contest' to discover the next generation of female leaders has been completed. Jeong Yeon-woo (24, Department of Electrical and Electronic Communication Engineering Education, Chungnam National University), who dreams of becoming an educator, was honored with this year's Jin (眞).

On the 5th, the 69th Miss Korea Contest, hosted by Global E&B, was held at the COEX Auditorium in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. On this day, the 63rd Miss Korea 'Sun'Woo Hee-jun and the 67th Miss Korea 'Sun'Jung Kyu-ri were co-MCs and showed off their stable hosting skills.

This year's competition heralded the discovery of polygonal female talents who broke the existing framework with various changes in line with the trend of the times, such as △ conducting the first-ever consolation match △ introducing a survival method △ introducing a survival method △ parallel referendum and jury voting to strengthen fairness △ expanding participation qualifications for participants from various backgrounds.

The honor of "good" went to Kim Bo-geum (25, Kyung Hee University Department of Dance). Yoo Eun-seo (26, Department of Aeronautical Tourism at Suwon University) won the prize for "Beauty". Yoo Eun-seo is the younger brother of Yoo Si-eun, who won the 66th Miss Korea Contest 'Seon', and after the 2023 Miss Korea challenge, she won the Miss Korea crown alongside her sister, receiving the joy of winning the prize in the final competition, which she once again knocked on through the consolation match.

Park Ji-yu (20), a broadcasting and entertainment major at Dongduk Women's University, and Lee Seo-hyun (22, Oriental Studies Department/Venture Management Department at Seoul National University) were named in the new category 'Ye (藝)' at this year's competition. Following the traditional virtue of 'Jin, Seon, and Mi', the newly established 'Ye·'Jae' category selected candidates with artistic talent, creativity, and expressiveness, such as dance, music, and acting, as well as competitive talents and original and professional talents, respectively. This is a change in line with Miss Korea's direction to discover financial resources in a broader sense, raising expectations for the performance of female talents who will become more diverse.

Lee Gyu-ri (21, Chung-Ang University Department of Theater and Film) and Yoo Eun-seo (26, Suwon Science University Department of Aeronautical Tourism) won the special awards, popularity and friendship awards, respectively.

Beyond the existing stereotypes of 'beauty', the 69th Miss Korea Contest presented an enterprising modern woman image with intelligence, personality, physical strength, creativity, and talent, and the stages that contained the candidates' colorful charms and capabilities left a strong impression. The confident appearance of candidates armed with the confident charm of Generation Z brought cheers and applause from the audience.




The special collaboration stage with Jeon So-mi also drew a heated response. In particular, Jeon So-mi completed the collaboration stage with the participants in line with the concept of the new album title song 'CLOSER', which will be released on the 11th, highlighting the beauty of healthy and enterprising women, adding meaning to the competition.

The 2025 Miss Korea winners, who finished the competition proving their potential as global female leaders, are expected to be active in various fields in the future. The stage for the 69th Miss Korea Contest will be broadcast on Miss Korea's official YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on the 18th.
