Kedeheon Golden ended up topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart..1st place in the chart.

The OST 'Golden' of the Netflix animation 'K-pop Demon Hunters', which was acclaimed for its high understanding of K-pop and traditional Korean culture, topped the main Billboard single chart 'Hot 100'.

Billboard reported on the 11th that 'Golden' topped the chart in a chart preview article dated on the 16th, up one notch from the previous week, beating American pop star Ola Alex Warren's 'Odinnery'.

"Kedeheon" is an animation about exorcist and K-pop girl group "Honmun" completing "Honmun" by defeating demons and opening peace to the world."

The track and theme song 'Golden' became the first K-pop song to top 'Hot 100' by a female singer.

After appearing on the chart at No. 81 early last month, 'Golden', which has continued to rise vertically, eventually rose to No. 1 in the seventh week. The "Hot 100" chart is by far the most prestigious of Billboard's many detailed charts.

The only K-pop singers who topped the Hot 100 chart were the group BTS and team members Jimin and Jungkook, who topped the K-pop chart for the first time in two years.

Previously, 'Golden' became the first K-pop to dominate both the world's two major music charts, as it ranked No. 1 in 13 years since singer Psy's 'Gangnam Style' on the UK's official single chart top 100.

'Golden' was sung by composer Lee Jae-jae, a SM Entertainment trainee, rapper and singer-songwriter Ray Armie from Seoul, and Audrey from New Jersey, USA, all of whom are Korean-Americans.

Teddy 24, a famous music producer of the K-pop agency The Black Label, participated in the song production with Lee Jae.
