Kim Jung-min's son Dani, national team member Jae Seung-seon...I'm going to play Porto with a Japanese flag

Singer Kim Jung-min's second son Dani Daichi (Korean name Kim Do-yoon, 17) has once again been selected for the Japanese national soccer team.

On the 21st, the Japan Football Association (JFA) announced the list of Japan's U-17 national team to participate in the international tournament in Limoge, France next month, and Dani Daichi was included in the list.

This is the second selection since the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) 2025 U-17 Asian Cup held in Saudi Arabia in April.

Born in 2008, he is the second son of Kim Jung-min and his Japanese wife, Rumiko Dani. After growing up in Osan Middle School, FC Seoul Youth Team, he moved to Sagan Dos Youth Team in Japan's J1 League and scored six goals in the U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers held last year.

In the finals, he scored against Australia and helped against Saudi Arabia and was evaluated by the Japanese media as "Intense presence on the Asian stage".

The Japanese Football Association (JFA) will participate in the Limoge International Competition in Limoge, France, next month and face European powerhouses Portugal, France, and Saudi Arabia.

In particular, some criticisms such as 「Aren't you aiming for exemption from the military」 and"I'm going to Japan after raising him in Korea" and"I want him to grow in a good environment" are mixed with support.

Meanwhile, the life story of Kim Jung-min's family in Korea and Japan will be revealed on tvN STORY 'Departments', which will premiere on the 28th.
