MBC Pulls ‘To The Moon’ Teaser After Middle Eastern Caricature Backlash



MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "To The Moon" (played by Na Yoon-chae, directed by Oh Da-young) has been embroiled in controversy over the caricature of Middle Eastern culture with a teaser video.

The production team said on the 21st that `the recently released teaser is a parody of an ice cream commercial in the 1980s and 1990s based on a drama story set in a confectionery company'.
