 Hive Bang Si-hyuk investigates second police charge of 190 billion won in unjust enrichment



Hive Chairman Bang Si-hyuk will be investigated by the police for a second time in connection with allegations of fraudulent and fraudulent transactions.

Bang Si-hyuk attended the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's financial crime investigation unit as a suspect at 10 a.m. on the 22nd. His police appearance is the second after his public appearance on the 15th.

Bang Si-hyuk is accused of earning 190 billion won in unfair gains (violation of the Capital Markets Act) by deceiving existing investors in 2019 that they had no plans for an initial public offering (IPO) and then having them sell their shares to a special purpose corporation of a private equity fund established by former officials.




Police raided the Korea Exchange in Seoul's Yeongdeungpo-gu district on June 30, securing data on Hive's listing review, and raided Hive's headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on July 24.

In this regard, Bang Si-hyuk denies all charges.
