A source in the entertainment industry told Sports Chosun on the 22nd that Hong Jong-hyun will join Channel A 'I Have a Baby' (played by So Hae-won, directed by Kim Jin-sung). 'I got a baby' is a speeding reverse romantic comedy drama about a night away between two men and women who said they would not get married in this life.
'I Have a Baby' is a work that Oh Yeon-seo and Choi Jin-hyuk worked together and Yoon Ji-on decided to join. Yoon Ji-on recently dropped out of the work due to drunk driving, and re-shooting became inevitable. Since much of the filming has already been done, Hong Jong-hyun has become a relief pitcher for 'I have a baby' in response to their love call at a time when the production team felt a lot of pressure to find a replacement actor due to the huge cost of re-shooting.
Hong Jong-hyun will play Lee Min-wook, Jang Hee-won's childhood friend in the play, and will play an important role in forming a triangular relationship with Kang Doo-joon (Choi Jin-hyuk).
