Hwaseong Dongtan Police Station in Gyeonggi-do announced on the 27th that it sent A without detention on charges of assault and injury. According to the police, A is suspected of assaulting B at the family home of victim B located in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, around 5 p.m. on March 11, 2023.
In this case, B was reportedly diagnosed with a sprained sprain for two weeks.
Later, around 6 p.m. on April 6, 2024, A is additionally accused of assaulting B again at a lodging facility in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do.
It is known that the two first got to know each other through an open chat room opened by Mr. A himself after the end of the 'I'm Solo' program. In the chat room, A communicated with the viewers with his appearance, and the victim claimed that he also formed a relationship with B in the process and began dating him.
However, as the assault was repeated after dating, B filed a complaint complaining of serious anxiety and mental pain. Mr. B said, `A is a person who makes sports his career, so the moment he was assaulted, he felt a real threat to his life.' `Since then, he has been treated for depression and anxiety disorders" he said.
"It's been a while, but I decided to sue him because I wanted him to be punished and reflect on himself," he said.
