BTS V Buys ₩14.2 Billion Cheongdam-dong Penthouse in Full Cash

According to the real estate register on the 24th, V purchased 273.96 square meters (about 82 pyeong) of land dedicated to Cheongdam-dong 'The Penthouse Cheongdam (PH129)' for 14.2 billion won on the 17th of this month. The house is a two-story structure consisting of five rooms and three bathrooms.
Given that no collateral security rights have been established on the register, V appears to have paid the full amount in cash without using loans from the financial sector. Earlier, the sale contract was made in early May, and the ownership transfer process was completed along with the balance payment on the 17th.
PH129 is a high-end residential complex completed in 2020, consisting of a total of 29 households from the 6th basement floor to the 20th floor above the ground. All generations have been designed in a two-story structure, and actors Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young, golfer Park In-bee and star instructor Hyun Woo-jin are currently housed.
Each member of the BTS has been attracting attention by owning a high-end house in Yongsan, Seoul. In June, Jin purchased a generation of Hannam The Hill for 17.5 billion won without a loan, and previously purchased two more at the same complex and gave them to his parents. Last year, J-Hope bought an Aperhan River penthouse worth 12 billion won in cash, while RM and Jimin bought the Nine One Hannam in 2021 for 6.3 billion won and 5.9 billion won, respectively. Jungkook is living in a new detached house in Yongsan-gu, and Suga is living in River Hill South.
