Jang Dong-yoon, between a cold-headed detective and a shaky son... a spectrum of acting extended to the 'warts'
Jang Dong-yoon maximized the suspense of the play by going back and forth between sharp rhetoric and human conflict in 『Warts: Murderer's Outing』.

Jang Dong-yoon played Cha Soo-yeol, a detective and the son of a warts, in SBS's Friday-Saturday drama `The Warts: A Murderer's Outing" (directed by Byun Young-joo, scripted by Lee Young-jong). In recent broadcasts, he led the investigation by connecting scattered clues, while encouraging the police team to lead the case. However, the tension reached its peak due to misunderstandings and conflicts surrounding the mother-son relationship when I faced Jung Shin (Koh Hyun-jung). The scene of pulling out of the pension house while clutching Jung Shin's neck clearly revealed the complex inner cracks of Cha Soo-yeol.

Jang Dong-yoon's acting completed a three-dimensional character by intersecting human weaknesses with the fierce detective's energy. In the scene of confrontation with Jung-shin, he instilled a cold and intense tension, and in front of Jeong-yeon (played by Kim Bo-ra), he showed anxiety and clumsy affection and made use of the play's texture in a variety of ways. He firmly supported the narrative by freely moving between his determination as a detective and his warmth as a lover.

Beyond the image accumulated in the genre of youth and romance, Jang Dong-yoon proved his mature acting ability to digest confrontation and melodrama at the same time through this work. Attention is also drawn to what emotions and choices Cha Soo-yeol will reveal in the urgency of the case and future developments.

Meanwhile, SBS's Friday-Saturday drama `The Devil: The Killer's Going Out' airs every Friday night at 9:50 p.m. and Saturday at 10 p.m.
