At 10 a.m. on October 16, the 12th Criminal Division of the Incheon District Court will hold its first hearing on Shin Tae-il, who was arrested and charged with violating the law on the protection of children and adolescents' sex (such as making sexual exploitation).
Shin Tae-il is accused of appearing on his live broadcast on July 12 and transmitting inappropriate physical contact scenes. Shin Tae-il was arrested at the scene on Sept. 1 by police who were dispatched after receiving an arrest warrant. In particular, crimes related to sexual exploitation are serious crimes that can serve up to life in prison. In response, the Incheon District Court issued an arrest warrant for Shin Tae-il on the 4th, saying, `There is a risk of fleeing.' Shin Tae-il is currently in the Incheon Detention Center.
After Shin Tae-il's arrest, the police have booked seven more BJs who appeared on the show together at the time of the incident and are investigating.
