EXO-CBX Members Accept SM’s Terms, Seek Full Participation in Group Activities

With the group EXO predicting the release of its 8th regular album next year, starting with a year-end fan meeting, Chen Baekhyun Xiumin (hereinafter, Chenbaek City) expressed his position on the team's activities as a whole.

EXO will hold a fan meeting 'Exobus' at Inspire Arena in Incheon from December 13th to 14th, and release its 8th regular album in the first quarter of 2026. Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, and Ray are known to participate in this activity, raising fans' curiosity about Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin's future moves.

In this regard, the CBX agency INB100 announced on the 29th that it has accepted all the conditions set forth by SM and clearly communicated its intention to agree since the second adjustment date (October 2) for EXO's full-body activities.




In particular, it emphasized that it accepted all key provisions such as 'withdrawal of related litigation' and 'Payment of 10% of sales in the contract', saying that 'we were in talks with the aim of making a full comeback at the end of the year.'

Earlier, the conflict between Chenbaek City and SM arose over the settlement issue in June last year, and since then, the two sides have continued legal procedures and adjustments. 2. September 10, 2025 - Mutual sharing of detailed agreements

The two sides actually exchanged specific agreements and entered a practical consultation stage.

3. Full acceptance of SM's requirements

After the 2nd adjustment date (October 2nd), for the year-end EXO full comeback, CBX accepted all the conditions set by SM and clearly communicated the agreement.

I left all personal schedule for December empty for full activities, and I was waiting for SM's final reply through legal representative.

While making the above efforts to promote EXO as a whole, I came across an announcement about holding EXO fan meetings and releasing regular albums excluding CBX.

The members of CBX valued the sincerity of their fans who have been together for a long time more than anything else, and they desperately wanted EXO to work as a whole, so they chose the path of agreement.

Accordingly, we will draw an agreement for full-body activities as soon as possible.
