Gong Myung Spreads Chuseok Cheer at Seoul Child Care Facility as World Vision Ambassador

The volunteer work was arranged as an extension of the 50 million won sponsorship delivered by Ambassador Gong Myung for the child care facility through World Vision in September. The donation was delivered as a holiday gift by pre-investigating the gifts children wanted, and it will also be used to remodel the rooftop, which was a scarce resting place in the facility, to make it a 'shelter' for children to rest comfortably.
Despite his busy filming schedule, Ambassador Gong Myung took time to participate in volunteer activities to be with the children. On this day, he made a surprise appearance in front of the children and greeted them, had a time to get close through conversation, and made pleasant memories by sharing a recreational mini-game and a one-day class of songpyeon making. Beyond simple visits, he gave children warm memories of the holiday through sincere communication and sharing.
Gong Myung said, "I came here for Chuseok to make good memories for my children, but it was a really happy time because I felt like I received them as a gift," he said.

Gong Myung has been participating in various sponsorship and volunteer activities for underprivileged children and young people at home and abroad since he was appointed as a World Vision Ambassador in 2024, and the recent Ugandan volunteer story was released on KBS1 'Love Across the Sea Season 4'.
Meanwhile, Gong Myung met with viewers around the world as Han Yoon-seok, a mysterious transfer student, in the Netflix film 『A History of Confession』 released this summer. In the play, he expressed the multi-faceted aspects of youth in an immersive way, giving them a deep sensibility from fresh excitement. This also proves his deeper and wider acting skills.
