Singer Kim Sung-kyu successfully completed the first performance of the musical 'Death Note'.

Kim Sung-kyu met with the audience as L in the musical 'Death Note' at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th at the Link Art Center in D-Cube, Seoul.

The musical 'Death Note', an adaptation of a Japanese cartoon of the same name, depicts a breathtaking brain fight between a genius high school student 'Reito' who tries to bring justice to justice by punishing the evil of society after getting his hands on the envoy's notebook 'Death Note' and a famous detective 'L(L)'.




In 'Death Note', Kim Sung-kyu plays L, a famous detective with excellent brain and reasoning power. Kim Sung-kyu, who was on the stage on this day, admired those who showed off their perfect synchro ratio with L as if they had popped out of the cartoon, along with intense smokey makeup.

Kim Sung-kyu completely overwhelmed the stage with his solid acting skills accumulated through a number of works and explosive singing skills as the main vocalist of Infinite. He has a cool and sharp insight, but he fully mesmerized the audience by unraveling various aspects of L, who is reckless like a child, with three-dimensional acting.

Kim Sung-kyu, who successfully completed the first performance of the musical 'Death Note' through his agency Villiance, is happy to join 'Death Note' and finish the first performance safely. The musical 'Death Note', starring Kim Sung-kyu, will be performed at the DCube Link Art Center in Seoul until May 10, 2026.
