Doyoung and Jungwoo, members of the group NCT 127, fulfilled their duty of defense, and briefly parted ways with their fans.

The agency SM Entertainment (SM) announced on the 29th that `Doyoung will join the Army as an active-duty soldier on December 8, and Jungwoo will join the Army on the same day after receiving a notice of passing the Army Military Band.'

No separate official events will be held on the day of admission. SM asked "As it is a place with a large number of soldiers and families, please refrain from visiting the site for safety."

With this, Doyoung and Jungwoo became the third members of the team to join the army. Earlier in April last year, Taeyong joined the Navy as a cultural public relations soldier of the Navy's Military Music Chairman's Battalion and is scheduled to be discharged from the military on December 14. Jae-hyun entered the military band of the Korea Military Academy in November last year and is scheduled to be discharged from the military on May 3 next year.

Jung-woo and Do-young have been active in NCT 127 activities and personal schedules until recently.




From June to September, Do-yeong performed 14 solo concerts in seven Asian regions, including Seoul, Yokohama, Singapore, Macau, Kobe, Bangkok, and Taipei, and Jungwoo served as an MC for web entertainment 'Nopogi' and 'MBC Virtual Live Festival'.
