On this day, Seo Dong-ju revealed his life history. Seo Dong-ju, who was studying art in the U.S. while playing arts and sports as a child, said he felt limited and transferred to MIT, his sister school, while taking math classes.
Seo Dong-ju said, `The 2002 World Cup was a very difficult time for my family. As various situations occurred, there was no living expenses, so I did school cleaning and washing dishes part-time, and how much I was scolded at the restaurant. Seo Dong-ju's father and comedian Seo Se-won was sentenced to six months in prison and two years of probation for assaulting his wife Seo Jeong-hee in 2015 and divorced from the agreement. Seo Se-won, who remarried to a Haegeum performer 23 years his junior in 2016, left for Cambodia to do business. However, Seo Se-won died of cardiac arrest while receiving an IV at the Phnom Penh Korean Hospital in 2023. Seo Dong-ju visited Cambodia in person, attended the funeral, and sent Seo Se-won off for the last time.
