Tanaka, the song was stolen...Good night, miss. It's a Chinese song

Comedian Kim Kyung-wook expressed his anger, saying that his song 'Goodnight Miss' was arranged and registered without permission to a Chinese music company.

Kim Kyung-wook recently said on social media, `Chinese music companies are arranging famous songs and registering new ones on Instagram(meta).'

"In the process, there is a situation in which ownership of the original song is forcibly transferred" he revealed.

He said 'Good night Miss' made with a lot of people for two years has been newly registered as a Chinese song" and "We are currently discussing a solution with the distributor, and I hope other artists will be careful."

Kim Kyung-wook is working as a Japanese sub-character 'Tanaka' and released 'Good night Miss' in February with YouTuber Nimol Cash.

The song gained popularity for its addictive melody and unique performance.

However, the use of the original song has recently been blocked on Instagram Reels, and instead, an arrangement version that is almost the same as the original song but has been registered, so a Chinese music company has actually taken the original song 'as if it had been stolen'.

Kim Kyung-wook's case is another example of damage from the recent spreading 'Chinese copyright theft' controversy.

Earlier, after it was revealed that popular Korean songs such as Brown Eyes 'Already One Year' and 'God' were registered on Chinese platforms without permission, the Korean music industry virtually collapsed the copyright protection system between countries"We are calling for a strong response.
