Choi died during his stay in the U.S. His acquaintance posted on social media that `"Woo Seob, the leader of the party, passed away a few months ago. The drummer, who went home because he couldn't contact him, found it, and relatives came and took care of it and held a funeral. I have no idea because I haven't heard of any public obituaries I knew while talking to my junior," he lamented.
Choi Woo-seop, who was born in 1954, formed a rock band shaman with Hanbong Ji Hae-ryong Kim Il-tae in 1975. In the early 1980s, the shaman shocked people by showing the heavy metal genre, which was unfamiliar in Korea. He made his name as a legendary band in 1980 when he released his first album 'Moodang' and his second album 'Don't Stop' in 1983.
