Kang Seung-yoon's second solo studio album 'Page 2' will finally be released at 6 p.m. on the 3rd.
'Page 2' is the same album as a collection of short stories that unravel various emotions faced in daily life with Kang Seung-yoon's delicate sensibilities and grammar. As it is the first solo album in about four years and seven months, Kang Seung-yoon has led not only the production of all the songs, but also the visual and promotional planning, attention is focusing more than ever.

- If you describe the 2nd regular album 'page 2' with one keyword?
▶ I'd say 'if so' Thirteen tracks are singing different emotions, different stories, but I thought they were all another face derived from my inner self. I used a lot of images of origami in this album package or teaching, and I wanted to capture the meaning of human Kang Seung-yoon as well as a person with various appearances, just as new sides continue to emerge when folding paper.
- Please introduce the title song 'Beauty'.
▶ Synth pop and rock sound are added to the dance song in an exciting atmosphere. Above all, it is a good song to listen to comfortably, and I felt that it was the track that best expressed this album, so I chose it as the title song. If you look into the lyrics, there are many opposing expressions such as "softly sharp" and "tough as calm". It would be nice if you could look for and listen to the parts that describe such multifaceted beauty.
- What message do you want to convey through 'Mi(Mi)(Mi)(Mi)(Mi)(Mi)(Mi)'?
▶ Like the repeated lyrics of the chorus "Me and Shake that Beauty", it contains a message to shake the beauty of youth boldly and enjoy it to your heart's content. And I wanted to tie my youth, which I remember, and the precious memories of the present, which I hope will be forever, in music. I hope that those who listen to this song will enjoy it as if they capture the time stained with their own brilliance.
- The music video was also completed in a bright and refreshing mood. If there's a point to watch.
▶ I tried to capture things that felt like 'youth' just by looking at it. Rather than dwell on the meaning or age of the word youth, I wanted to capture the beauty of a moment that shines in itself. So, there are many scenes in the music video that embody the free atmosphere, such as leaving a road trip with friends or running through a wide field on a skateboard. You can watch it as a video that records the moments that sparkle with youth without any addition or subtraction.
- Unlike the first full-length album, the title song is a dance genre. What kind of performance will you see?
▶ Personally, I can confidently tell you that it is my favorite performance of all the activities so far. The picture I imagined when I was working on this song was expressed as it is, and I am very satisfied with the choreography that goes well with the overall cheerful mood. In particular, there is a motion to express various shapes by attaching a rubber band to the stand microphone, and I hope you pay attention to it because I think it is an interesting point.
- There are as many as 13 tracks. Especially if there's a track that you're more attached to.
▶ Of course, I have a lot of affection for each of the songs in the album, but I think it's a more special song for the fans and me as well. The song is a 'fansong' for the inner circle (fandom name) from start to finish. I also melted my heart that I want to be a strong presence to my sides who are always there for me. I think that 'separation anxiety' written from the perspective of my dog Thor will also remain a very affectionate and meaningful song to me.
- If you could explain the difference between this album and the 1st full-length album 'Page'.
▶ If most of my thoughts and stories were on page, page2' is an album with added diversity and depth. It also contains music that started from imagination regardless of my experience, such as 'Beosheng', which was created by drawing scenes of fusion historical dramas, and 'Even Lies' made by watching reality programs of separated lovers. Sometimes I think I worked like a novelist creating a new story, sometimes like an actor playing a fictional situation.
- How do you want your listeners to listen to this album.
▶ As it contains tracks of various moods, if you have a favorite song or a song that attracts your heart, please share it with various playlists and enjoy it according to the situation. For example, it would be good to listen to songs with a fast tempo like 'ME(美)' when you are driving and calm and emotional songs like 'Sky Roof' when you want to relax.
- How do you want to make an impression on the public through page 2.
▶ I hope the next album feels like an artist I'm looking forward to more. I took off a little bit of my image that the public had been thinking about, and I realized that Kang Seung-yoon had this kind of image. 'Then what kind of music will come out next?' It would be nice if you could arouse the question of. I want to be a person who doesn't stay in one place and continues to find new paths.
- They are constantly working across various areas. What is the driving force.
▶ My dream is to be a proud person not only to fans but also to my family, people who work with me, and dear friends. That goal seems to be the driving force behind me to live harder. I think it's a happy thing to have the use of a person named me somewhere, and whenever I need it, I'm willing to run and be with you.
- You must be busy preparing for your comeback. Can you give us a spoiler about your promotion?
▶ As it is an album that has been released for the first time in a long time, I have a great heart to start from scratch with the attitude of a rookie. Broadcasting, YouTube, and radio are busier than ever with full schedules. I keep coming up with ideas on how to let more people hear my music, so please look forward to it. In addition, the title song challenge is really cute, and it is not a dance challenge, so anyone can participate comfortably without having to prepare for a long time. I hope the fans and the public enjoy it together.
- It's an album filled with `Kang Seung Yoon.' Is there anything you want to say to yourself through page 2?
▶ First of all, I want to pat him on the back for his hard work. In particular, this time, I experienced many new things while working together on the entire album production, and I had a lot of fun. I think it was a better process than any other outcome. I want to be a person who can focus on the next step with what I learned from 'Page 2', and I want to show you how I continue to grow in the future.
