Kai will hold a concert at Mitsui Hall in Nihonbashi, Japan, on January 17 and 18 next year under the title of 'KAI ON MUSICAL' and meet local fans.
The performance name 'KAI ON MUSIC' is a concert that illuminates the image of musical actor Kai, who shines only on stage. It is expected to be composed of various musical numbers of major works that have represented themselves, so that they can feel the depth and spectrum of a musical actor.
Following the release of Japan's first digital single '愛こそ殘酷 ~ LOVE IS CRUEL ~ ' in July, Kai is working on a musical album composed of all Japanese in January next year.
Kai recently took to the stage of a concert commemorating the 65th anniversary of Japan's Horipro, drawing enthusiastic cheers from local audiences, and his first solo Japanese fan meeting held in July also sold out. In addition, the Japanese performance of last year's world tour recital 'KAI INTO THE WORLD' also sold out, boasting a strong local fan base.
Meanwhile, Kai will continue his active activities in Korea by playing Sejong, who created the Hunminjeongeum for the people, and Jin-seok, a producer of the truth-seeking broadcasting station, in the musical 『Man in Hanbok』, which will open in December.
