Han Soo-min opened a new family medicine clinic in Apgujeong-dong in November. The new hospital plans to provide medical treatment centered on functional medicine and obesity clinics.
The news of the opening of Apgujeong is drawing attention again along with Han Soo-min's move to make his name known through various real estate investments. This is because Han Soo-min is the queen of financial technology who made a big profit from the so-called `Starbucks financial technology.' In particular, Han Soo-min has made great profits by purchasing and remodeling old buildings and placing Starbucks in those buildings.
In October 2011, Han Soo-min purchased a four-story building in Dongseon-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul for 2.9 billion won, and later remodeled it to store Starbucks on all floors. Since then, the building was sold for 4.66 billion won in 2014, earning a market margin of 1.76 billion won.
Then, in October 2014, he purchased a building near Hamjibak Intersection in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul for 8.9 billion won and built a new five-story building. Starbucks and hospitals were also located in the building, and Han Soo-min sold the building for 17.35 billion won in 2019, earning a market profit of about 6.3 billion won.
In addition, it was belatedly known that Starbucks purchased a building in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, for 13.7 billion won in July 2021. After the completion of the project in October 2023, dessert cafes and entertainment companies are known to move in.
