Hye Myung, a law firm in charge of Park Si-hoo's legal representation, made an official statement on the 22nd and said, `All the contents circulated on social media regarding actor Park Si-hoo are false, and criminal charges are currently being filed against the distributor.'
According to Hye-myeong, Park Si-hoo sued a suspect who posted malicious false information on his SNS in August on charges of defamation under the Information and Communication Network Act, and a police investigation is currently underway. The suspect's ex-husband also filed a separate complaint for the act, and the police recently admitted to violating the Information and Communication Network Act (defamation of false information) filed by her ex-husband and sent the case to the prosecution.
Hye-myeong explained that `The posts posted by the suspect about Park Si-hoo and her ex-husband are distorted based on the same data,' adding `As the allegations were admitted in the ex-husband case, the accusation case related to Park Si-hoo is also clearly admitted.'
Then, Park Si-hoo made clear its future countermeasures. "We will respond strongly to unfounded rumors and malicious slander that defamed actor Park Si-hoo without any leniency or agreement."
