Kim Nak-su, played by Ryu Seung-ryong, is a manager of a large company for 25 years. Although he has been more faithful to the company than anyone else, his position is shaken due to negative factors such as the extreme choice of motivation for joining the company, exposure of IT creators, and sluggish performance. In addition to this, the criticism of his boss Baek Sang-moo (Yoo Seung-mok) is added, but Kim Nak-soo uses the instinct of a manager who runs directly instead of frustration. Visiting an IT creator, expressing his sincerity and going on-site sales, and the process of signing a contract after struggling is both salty and cheering.
In particular, in the scene where Baek Sang-moo was notified of the appointment, Ryu Seung-ryong delicately depicted his trembling voice, eyes, moments of despair and regret, leaving a deep lingering impression on the small screen. Kim Nak-soo was eventually demoted to the head of the safety management team at the ACT Asan plant. His changes and new challenges add curiosity to future developments.
Ryu Seung-ryong doubles the reality of the play by melting the character 'real manager' who is like a kkondae but can't hate it, with a pleasant humanity and unique life performance. Detailed emotional performances drawn between office workers, husbands, and fathers capture viewers' sympathy at once. In particular, while Director Kim's Story' is drawing attention as it topped the Netflix TOP TV show shortly after its release, Ryu Seung-ryong's presence has become the centerpiece of the work, raising the level of immersion.
Meanwhile, Ryu Seung-ryong's passionate performance 'The Story of Manager Kim who works at a large company in Seoul's home' will air every Saturday at 10:40 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 p.m. on JTBC.
