The late Jeon Soo-hwan passed away on November 16, 2022. He was 57.
At that time, his sad news was delivered two days after his death by the bereaved family, and the specific cause of death is unknown.
The deceased was born in Inje, Gangwon-do, graduated from Gyewon Arts High School with a major in theater and began acting through the play 'The Power of Habits' in Theater Company 76'. After that, he became the 16th Pumba of the work 'Pumba', representing Korean mono-drama, and made his name known in earnest. The intense immersion and appeal in this work, which deals with the life of the real person Jeon Chang-geun, impressed many audiences.
He also showed his presence in movies and dramas by playing various characters. Starting with 'Blackjack' in 1997, he has worked in several works, including 'Quiet World' (2006), 'My Neighborhood' (2007), 'Itaewon Murder' (2009), 'Aging Family' (2013), and 'Visual' (2013).
On TV, he impressed with his unique roles such as the father of sergeant Kim Jae-woo in tvN 'Blue Tower' and Viktor Jang in SBS 'Switch'.
The deceased's posthumous works are tvN drama '2521'(2022) and TVing drama 'Cruel Intern'(2023).
