In the third episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'The Phone You Called Now' (directed by Park Sang-woo, We Deuk-gyu, scripted by Kim Ji-woon), Baek Sa-eon (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) first recognized the existence of his wife Hong Hee-joo (played by Chae Soo-bin) and faced a new phase. The ratings for the third episode reached 6% nationwide and 5.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area (provided by Nielsen Korea, based on furniture), breaking its own highest ratings. In particular, the scene in which Hee-joo ran out of the car due to the malfunction of the police car radio and radio equipment caused her to recall her memory of the kidnapper and soared to a maximum viewership of 6.5%.
Saran, who was devastated by the explosive attack on the show, immediately returned home and began questioning Hee-joo. Saran, whose relationship with Hee-joo was questionable, tried to take off his clothes to check whether the picture sent by the blackmailer was real, but he couldn't carry it out. When Sageon showed a moment of hesitation, Hee-joo pushed him hard because he thought this was the time and managed to escape the situation.
Sa-eon saw Hee-joo's cell phone because she wanted to check the traces of hacking, and in the process, Hee-joo and Ji Sang-woo (played by Heo Nam-joon) made an appointment separately. As a result, he went to a restaurant with two people under the pretext of meeting with junior announcer Na Yu-ri (Jang Kyu-ri) and met Hee-joo under the guise of an accident.
Sageon, who joined Hee-ju, began to find out Sang-woo's personal information. However, Sang-woo is just uncomfortable with such remarks. "Are you interested in me?," he said, continuing a tense war of nerves with him. Hee-joo, who couldn't watch this, called out the adage and asked it, but the adage was "Do you know that well? What about me? How much do you know about me?", showing an uncharacteristic figure. While pursuing the blackmailer, Sa-eon also instructs Park Do-jae (Choi Woo-jin) to investigate Sang-woo's background.
Meanwhile, the situation in which the kidnapper (Park Jae-yoon) is hovering in front of Hee-joo was caught, causing everyone to get goosebumps. The kidnapper, who noticed that Hee-joo had acquired the threatening phone, sent a signal asking him to contact her. Hee-joo, who judged that there was not much time left to ask Saran for divorce, called her husband again with a threatening phone. However, Sa-eon made Hee-joo confused by firmly confronting him, saying he had no intention of arranging his marriage to his wife.

At the end of the broadcast, the kidnapper began full-fledged actions, threatening Hee-joo with Hee-joo's biological father, Na Jin-cheol (Park Won-sang), as an excuse, giving him extreme tension. Finding out that the kidnapper and Jin-cheol were together, Hee-joo rushed to the nursing home, but the kidnapper had already left. Hee-joo, who was traveling with police officers to file a case, was frustrated at the reality that she could not do anything when she saw a police car hacked by her kidnapper.
At that moment, he approached the police officers and asked Hee-ju "This is my wife"It shook the small screen. The ending of Sageon's declaration, which announced his wife's existence in front of people for the first time in three years of marriage, exploded dopamine, raising expectations for the next episode.
The fourth episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama `The Phone You Called Now' will air at 9:50 p.m. on the 30th.
