tvN held a production presentation for the new Saturday drama 『Potato Research Institute" (written by Kim Ho-ho, directed by Kang Il-soo and Shim Jae-hyun) at the Ramada Hotel in Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 27th. Director Kang Il-soo, Lee Sun-bin, Kang Tae-oh, Lee Hak-ju, Kim Ga-eun and Shin Hyun-seung attended the event.
About Kim Mi-kyung, who he played, Lee Sun-bin said, `I thought it was a character that could show a very diverse tendency among the characters I have implemented so far. I thought it was a character that would not be very stressful, but I thought it was a character with a lot of degree, a lot of tears, and an excellent empathy. Usually, when you encounter an incident in a drama, you will be able to see Mi-kyung solve it in a variety of ways."
Lee Sun-bin "I thought it was a work that could show the life acting I was looking for. I read the script quickly, too. Mi-kyung and Baek-ho's love story and bickering life performance were also good, but the various characters in the movie live really well without unnecessarily abandoned characters. It's been such a long time since I've had a script without such lovely and hateful characters. As a result, I felt this melodrama really well. I felt like it's been a long time since I've been able to enjoy and have fun. I heard a lot of good things about Kang Tae-oh, so I wanted to try it" he said.
'Potato Research Institute' is a healing romance comedy drama in which a cold principled white tiger (Kang Tae-oh) appears in the life of a potato research institute who cries and laughs on potatoes, and Mi-kyung (Lee Sun-bin), who is all about potatoes.
The Potato Research Center will be broadcast from March 1st, following the "Ask the Stars".
