Actor Kang Tae-oh revealed why he joined Potato Research Institute.

tvN held a production presentation for the new Saturday drama 『Potato Research Institute" (written by Kim Ho-ho, directed by Kang Il-soo and Shim Jae-hyun) at the Ramada Hotel in Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 27th. Director Kang Il-soo, Lee Sun-bin, Kang Tae-oh, Lee Hak-ju, Kim Ga-eun and Shin Hyun-seung attended the event.

Kang Tae-oh, who plays So Baek-ho, is a cold principleist and a person with clear standards. In addition, he is sensitive to the deviation or deviation of those standards and principles, and I think he is a person who meets an uncontrollable deputy Kim Mi-kyung, who creates a situation that goes against my principles and deviates from control, and I think he is a person who permeates through conflict."

Kang Tae-oh checked the title first, and the word potato and the word lab had very opposite images. I think the lab will have a heavy atmosphere, but potatoes are familiar and cute. I read the script wondering what kind of harmony this would have. It's my first work to come back after a long time, but I thought it was a good thing that I participated because it seemed like it was a work that could show my excitement and joy."

'Potato Research Institute' is a healing romance comedy drama in which a cold principled white tiger (Kang Tae-oh) appears in the life of a potato research institute who cries and laughs on potatoes, and Mi-kyung (Lee Sun-bin), who is all about potatoes.

The Potato Research Center will be broadcast from March 1st, following the "Ask the Stars".
