'The Art of Negotiation' Hits 8.3% Viewership High

Lee Je-hoon, Kim Dae-myung, Ahn Hyun-ho, and Cha Kang-yoon showed warm 'Negotiation Techniques'.

In the sixth episode of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday Drama 'Negotiation Techniques' (written by Lee Seung-young, directed by Ahn Pan-seok), M&A teams Yoon Jun-no (Lee Je-hoon), Oh Soon-young (Kim Dae-myeong), Kwak Min-jeong (Ahn Hyun-ho), and Choi Jin-soo (Cha Kang-yoon) signed a large-scale contract with Japanese company Shimizu, barely escaping the bankruptcy risk facing the industrial group and relieving viewers. As a result, the viewership for the sixth episode reached 8.3 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area and 8 percent in the country, breaking its own highest ratings once again (based on Nielsen Korea paid households)

M&A team members made Choi Jin-soo, the youngest member of the Japanese company Shimizu, form a consensus with Hirose (Hitomi Miyauchi), leading Shimizu to find out what Shimizu wanted. Hirose told Choi Jin-soo about all the internal circumstances that were confused by the personnel appointment along with the headquarters transfer, and the M&A team, which found out that what Shimizu wanted was performance, again reversed the game of negotiations.

First, Yun Juno took care of Shimizu's performance and made it a condition to pay the down payment in advance so that the industrialists could secure a large amount of supplies at a low price. Shimizu also accepted the conditions of the mountaineer and just before signing the contract in a way that both sides could benefit, production plant manager Naito (Aoki Munetaka) suddenly opposed it, embarrassing everyone.

Yoon Jun-ho and the M&A team, who were involved in the deal without knowing the reason, heard from Shimizu about the past hidden in Naito's family and found a breakthrough to solve the situation. Yun Juno, who failed to even persuade Naito in person, saw a signboard of 溫 hanging on the wall while touring the factory and recalled the blueprint and photos of Park Rae-kyung (Kim Chang-wan), the CEO of Wind.

Yun Juno, who also recalled that Naito had stopped the contract after seeing Park Rae-kyung's name in the contract, realized that Naito had a strange antipathy toward Wind hidden in his mind. When Wind CEO Park Rae-kyung took over Daichi, Naito thought that not only did his father's company fail, but that Park Rae-kyung abandoned archery, his father's skill in making bicycles, and ignored it.

In response, Yun Juno delivered a photo of the moment of Daichi's takeover from Park Rae-kyung and a letter written by Park Rae-kyung himself to resolve the misunderstanding in Naito's mind. Feeling Park Rae-kyung's sincerity to respect and protect the craftsmanship of Daichi and 父 in the letter, Naito touched the viewers in tears, saying "Thank you".

Yun Juno and the M&A team, who persuaded Naito's mind, succeeded in signing a new contract on favorable terms for the industrial man. At the same time, it defended the stock prices of managing director Lee Dong-joon (played by Oh Man-seok), whose position in the company was in jeopardy due to the failure to list Wind, and the industrial group, which fell rapidly, providing thrilling catharsis.

Yoon Jun-ho and the M&A team escaped the crisis with a decisive move, but another unexpected bad news hit the industrial group, causing a new shock. If Song Jae-sik (Sung Dong-il), chairman of the industrial group, fails to repay the money borrowed by collateralizing stocks, the industrial group and Song Jae-sik are in danger of collapsing once again. As the loan must be paid back on time, Yun Juno is curious about how to solve the situation.
