'Treasure Island' (played by Lee Myung-hee, directed by Jin Chang-gyu) is a life betting revenge drama in which Seo Dong-ju (Park Hyung-sik), who hacked 2 trillion won in political slush funds, fights against a huge evil that tries to kill him. After topping the ratings of Friday-Saturday dramas from the first broadcast, it has been receiving explosive responses by breaking its own highest ratings for four consecutive episodes.
At the center of this rise is the main character Park Hyung-sik. Taking off his existing soft image, he transformed into a cool-headed ambitious man and a desperate rebenger, leading the play with more mature charisma and solid acting skills. Park Hyung-sik, who expanded his acting spectrum through 'Treasure Island', is well-received for his intense action and immersive emotional performance.
In particular, Park Hyung-sik's unshakable acting is raising the level of immersion in the play. He depicted Seo Dong-ju's desperate fight realistically by digesting high-level actions such as falling into the sea with a gunshot wound, crawling out in a heavy rain, and scuffling with blood.
