A production briefing session for the movie 'Victory' (directed by Kim Hyung-joo) was held at CGV I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 7th. Lee Byung-hun, Ko Chang-seok, Hyun Bong-sik, Moon Jung-hee, Jo Woo-jin and Kim Hyung-joo attended the event.
Lee Byung-hun showed Lee Dae-pal (2:8) parting his hair while playing Cho Hoon-hyun, a real person. In response, Lee Byung-hun said "Since it was a story of an existing person, we would have done it not at 2-8 but at least 10-0" "Our biggest goal is to find the maximum thing that the audience wants, so there was no problem with the hairstyle."
Lee Byung-hun then said "Cho Hoon-hyun is a legend of Go, needless to say, and he has a historical record of winning world competitions. I met Cho Hoon-hyun before filming the movie and heard a lot of stories, and I thought that he might have written this history because of those parts, so I thought he was a person who had a lot to learn from his desire to win and his thoughts" he said.
The story of Korea's best Go legend, Cho Hoon-hyun (Lee Byung-hun), once again challenging himself to the top with his natural temperament after losing a match against his student. From Lee Byung-hun as Cho Hoon-hyun to Ko Chang-seok, Hyun Bong-sik, Moon Jung-hee, Kim Kang-hoon, and Jo Woo-jin, they performed enthusiastically. Yoo Ah-in worked with Lee Byung-hun as a two-top player while playing Lee Chang-ho, a Go prodigy in the play, but the drug scandal caused a stir. Therefore, 'Victory' was also scheduled to be released early on Netflix, but it was released in theaters without being released.
'Victory' will be released on the 26th.
