Netflix's original series 'Tangeum', which will be released on May 16, is raising expectations in earnest by releasing stills of the characters of the main actors Lee Jae-wook and Jo Bo-ah.

'Tanggeum' is a mystery melodrama that takes place 12 years after Hong Rang (Lee Jae-wook), the biggest successor of the Joseon Dynasty, returns lost his memory and only his half-sister, Jae-yi (Jo Bo-ah), doubts his identity. A man who returns with a lost memory and a woman who doesn't trust him are intertwined, and a subtle emotional line develops between the two.

In the still released, a sharp-eyed Hong-rang and wary Jae-yi were shown. Their gaze and distance imply the suspense of the play and raise questions about what kind of relationship change will come to them.

Lee Jae-wook will perform a strong presence and deep inner acting through Hong-rang, a man with an unidentified past, while Jo Bo-ah delicately expresses the character of Jae-i, who is not shaken even in complex emotions.

In addition, the characters surrounding Hongrang and Jay also add interest. At the top, quantum Mujin (Jung Garam), his mother Min Yeon-ui (Um Ji-won), Daebang Shim Yeol-guk (Park Byung-eun), and artist Han Pyeong-daegun (Kim Jae-wook) will be intertwined with their secrets and inner circumstances, adding to the tension of the play.

'Tangeum' will be released worldwide on Netflix from 4 p.m. on May 16 in a total of 11 episodes.
