tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 「Someday, the life of a major in Seoul」 announced a smooth start from the first broadcast. The struggles of residents who are new to society led by young actors such as Ko Yoon-jung, Cynthia, Kang Yoo-seok, and Han Ye-ji captured viewers' sympathy and showed strong attraction.

The first episode, which aired on the 12th, ranked first in the same time period, including cable and general service, with an average of 4.4% in the Seoul metropolitan area, a maximum of 6.2%, a national average of 3.7%, and a maximum of 5.2%. The 2049 ratings also started well, averaging 2.8% and 4.1%, national average of 2.6%, and up to 3.4%, ranking first in all channels at the same time.

On this day's broadcast, Oi-young (Ko Yoon-jung), Pyo Nam-kyung (Cynthia), Um Jae-il (Kang Yoo-seok), and Kim Sa-bi (Han Ye-ji), who are residents of the first year of the obstetrics and gynecology department at Jongno Yulje Hospital, were adapting to the left and right. The appearance of those growing up by repeating their mistakes created laughter and empathy at the same time, and the scene where Ko Yoon-jung became a `celebrity in the hospital' while helping to give birth to an emergency child in the hallway became a famous scene leading to a rise in ratings.

In particular, the appearance of Professor Seo Jeong-min, played by Lee Bong-ryeon, and Kim Hye-in's 'Villain Fellow' Jin-won added to the tension of the play and amplified expectations for the next episode. It is evaluated that the new space called Jongno Yulje Hospital and the composition of fresh characters continued the sensibility of the existing 'Wise Doctor Life' while giving fresh fun.

On the other hand, 'Someday the Life of a Major' will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 p.m.
