'The Match' Leads Box Office, 'Lobby' Debuts Strong

While the human drama film 『Byeong-ju』 (directed by Kim Hyung-ju, produced by Moonlight) has been at the top of the box office for eight consecutive days, the black comedy film 『Robbie" (directed by Jungwoo Ha, produced by the Workhouse Company · Film Momentum) has been newly launched, heralding the success of both films.

According to the Korea Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admission tickets on the 3rd, 'Victory' mobilized 57,766 people on the 2nd to maintain the top spot in the overall box office. The cumulative audience of 'Victory' is 877,735. "Lobby", which was released on the same day, ranked second with 37,158 (accumulated 41,775 including the preview).

'Victory' is a story about Korea's best Go legend, Cho Hoon-hyun, who once again challenges the top with his natural temperament as a adventurer after losing a match against his student. Lee Byung-hun, Yoo Ah-in, Ko Chang-seok, Hyun Bong-sik, Moon Jung-hee, and Kim Kang-hoon appeared, and director Kim Hyung-joo of 'Security' took the megaphone.

Since its release on the 26th of last month, it has been at the top of the box office for eight days, and has surpassed 870,000 cumulative viewers, and is on the verge of surpassing 1 million this week. It is expected that 'Victory', which continues its box office success, will emerge as a representative film to protect the off-season theater district in the second week of its release.

Then 'Lobby' is a story about a startup CEO who only knew about research and starts lobbying golf for the first time in his life to win a national project worth 4 trillion won. Kim Jungwoo Ha, Kim Eui-sung, Kang Hae-rim, Lee Dong-hwi, Park Byung-eun, Kang Mal-geum, Choi Si-won, Cha Cha Joo-young, Park Hae-soo, and Kwak Sun-young appeared, and it is the third production of the Jungwoo Ha after 'Roller Coaster'Heo Samgwan'.

'Lobby' is expanding its base on the new genre of Jungwoo Ha comedy, garnering explosive audience reviews in off-season theaters. While the recommended procession of real-time visitors is also covering the online market, attention is being paid to the new work that will lead to the box office success.
