Actors Yook Sung-jae and Kim Ji-yeon, who work together in SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama 'Going Palace', raised viewers' expectations with their best-known romantic comedy chemistry of 16 years.

On the afternoon of the 17th, the SBS Hall on the 13th floor of the SBS building in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, held a production presentation for SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Going Palace' (written by Yoon Soo-jung/directed by Yoon Sung-sik). Director Yoon Sung-sik, who directed the show, as well as actors Yook Sung-jae, Kim Ji-yeon, and Kim Ji-hoon, were present on the day.

「Treasure Island」 is a fantasy rom-co in which the body of Yeori, a shaman who rejects the fate of Yeongmae, and Cheol-i Lee, who is trapped in Yeori's first love Yoon Gap, are confronted by eight ears with a grudge against the royal family and his body and soul are firmly twisted. Director Yoon Sung-sik, who was recognized for his trust and fun by directing dramas 'Queen Cheolin', 'The Best Yi Sun-shin', 'Gakshital', 'Daejo-young', joined forces with writer Yoon Soo-jung, who wrote the dramas 'The King's Face' and 'Excitedly Go'Fresh Actors Guild'Yook Sung-jae (played by Yoon Gap/Kang Cheol-i), Kim Ji-yeon (played by Yeo-ri), and Kim Ji-hoon (played by Lee Jung) are in sync with each other.




Regarding how their long friendship of 16 years influenced their work, they said, "It was rather a great strength to be able to exchange comments without paying attention to each other."

Yook Sung-jae said "I was worried at first that it would be awkward because it was a romance genre, but the more I filmed it, the more I felt synergy."I was surprised to see actor Kim Ji-yeon dragging the character intensively on the scene, saying, "Did my friend have such a professional side?"
