JTBC held a production presentation for the new Saturday drama 'Good Boy' (written by Lee Dae-il, directed by Shim Na-yeon) at The Link Seoul, Guro-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 29th. Director Shim Na-yeon, Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-i, Heo Sung-tae and Tae Won-seok attended the event.
Tae Won-seok increased his weight by 20 kilograms to transform himself into a discus thrower. He added "I thought I had to increase the amount if I wanted to match the character, so I ate hard and gained weight. Discus throwing is also an unfamiliar sport to me, so I went to the Korea Sports University every day off and practiced discus throwing because I thought that viewers might be disappointed if I didn't prepare properly. It took quite a long time, but I'm so happy that it came out well thanks to hard work. In fact, I was also curious about how to melt the discus into the action, but you'll know it right away if you watch the first episode. It's a fun and fantasy scene, so I hope you show a lot of interest."
'Good Boy' is a comic action youth investigation drama in which medalists who become police officers wear police ID cards around their necks instead of medals and fight against a world of unconscionable and foul play. Director Shim Na-yeon and writer Lee Dae-il, who produced the series `Life on Mars' and 'Aide', joined forces with each other. Here, Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-i, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok will work together on acting.
'Good Boy' will premiere at 10:40 p.m. on the 31st.
