JTBC's Saturday-Sunday Drama "Beautiful Than Heaven" (directed by Nam-gyu Lee, Soo-jin Kim, and Kim Seok-yoon) has only two episodes left until the end of the show. Lee Hae-sook (Kim Hye-ja) has met various relationships throughout her past and present lives in heaven. Attention was focused on repeated relationships such as her husband Ko Nak-joon (Son Seok-gu), who had a relationship with the couple again with a probability of 0.5%, Lee Young-ae (Lee Jung-eun), who was Lee Hae-sook's real mother in the previous life, and a pastor (Ryu Deok-hwan), who was found to have been a mother-child relationship through the center director (Cheon Ho-jin). Above all, Somyi (Han Ji-min)'s memory, which had been shrouded in veil, was peeled off one by one, raising questions about it. As a result, I pointed out the points to pay attention to until the end ahead of the final episode.
Somi is recalling her lost memories one by one. The first person to appear in the dream is Kang Jung-gu (Moon Jung-hwan), a young boy named Eun-ho, Somyi herself with the child, and Go Nak-jun, who looks unfamiliar. In every dream they appeared, Somi felt an unknown feeling of sadness and anger. Above all, Somi, who secretly held Ko Nak-jun in his heart while traveling between heaven and earth together, was suspicious of his identity. At the same time, he felt Eun-ho in his dream like a child, and judged Ko Nak-jun as a child trader. However, as if suddenly, Somyi was a happy lover with Ko Nak-joon, and Eun-ho reminded her of her mother's name Lee Hae-sook. In the end, the connection between Somi, who shed tears because it was an unattainable love with him, and the deep and tough connection to heaven stimulates curiosity.
Lee Hae-sook's relationship with the pastor was special. Even after losing his mother in his previous life, the pastor continued to wait indefinitely in heaven after death. It was Lee Hae-sook who met after that wait. Lee Hae-sook became the subject of edification for the crisis of going to hell, and she visited the church at the recommendation of the center director. The relationship that started with 'hate(?)' was gradually changing to 'healing'. Then one day, the pastor called Lee Hae-sook "Mom", and in the Lotto Festival Contest, Lee Hae-sook revealed that she was the mother to the pastor's story. It seemed to be a trick as if it were a joke between the two, but the center director behind the stage drew attention by answering that everything was true. Attention is also drawn to the lost memories and long-awaited stories of these hats.
'Beautiful than Heaven' has delivered the message that death is not the end of life, nor is heaven a prize. In heaven, Lee Hae-sook's relationships conveyed her unfulfilled gratitude in this world, and shared forgiveness and reconciliation. And they were given a choice for a new life of reincarnation. Therefore, we cannot be sure that the life of Lee Hae-sook and the late Nak-jun couple in heaven will continue as it is. Somyi, who is closely intertwined with the two, raises expectations for the end of not only the relationship with the pastor, but also the relationship between the couple who chose each other again in heaven.
The 11th episode of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday Drama "Beautiful Than Heaven" will air at 10:40 p.m. on the 24th, and the final episode (12th episode) will air at 10:30 p.m. on the 25th.
