Director Kang Hyung-chul expressed his feelings ahead of the release of the movie High Five.

Director Kang Hyung-chul said at the press and distribution premiere of the movie 'High Five' held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 26th, `Our movie is not made by one person, but a work that shines actors give great pleasure.'

The movie 'High Five', which will be released on the 30th, is a movie about what happens when five people who accidentally acquire superpowers meet with those who want their superpowers, and director Kang Hyung-chul took the megaphone.

Director Kang said, "(As you can see, VFX) is a movie that has a lot of visual special effects. I prepared quite a lot technically, but I hope it's in touch with reality. So I purposely set the character to feel like a neighbor or friend that you see around you."

'High Five' went through a difficult process until it was confirmed to be released. It finished filming in November 2021, but its release was temporarily postponed as lead actor Yoo Ah-in was caught on drug charges in 2023.

Director Kang said, `I think it's not a movie made by one person, but a movie where brilliant actors give great pleasure. It's a movie with a lot of experimentation, hard work, and sincerity. "I'm happy to finally release it on May 30th. It was released after 7 years following the previous one, and I forgot for a moment that it was such an honor to hang the movie I made to the theater. As Korean films are in a difficult time, I hope both our films and Korean films released on the same day will do well. I hope all the Korean movies released this year will stay healthy in the magical space of screens."
