Ryu Deok-hwan played the role of a pastor with warm beliefs in 『Beautiful Than Heaven』 (directed by Lee Nam-gyu, Kim Soo-jin, Kim Seok-yoon), and led the play's emotions stably by portraying delicate emotions and solid inner sides in harmony.
The pastor in the play is a soul who grew up in heaven after passing away at the age of five, and formed a special relationship by touching each other's wounds through a meeting with Hae-sook (Kim Hye-ja).
