Disney+'s challenge to the industry's strongest Netflix continues.
Walt Disney Company Korea held a 'Disney+Open House' event at its headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 23rd. Disney+ will present a lineup including 'Nine Puzzle' as well as 'Polaris' starring Jun Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won, 'Made in Korea' starring Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung, 'Fine: Mountaineers' starring Ryu Seung-ryong and Yang Se-jong, Ro-woon and Shin In-eun 'Takryu', and 'Pieces Doshi' starring Ji Chang-wook and Do Kyung-soo. Kim Soo-hyun's leading film 'nockoff', which was originally included in this year's lineup, was excluded.

In the second half of this year, various works will be presented except for 'nockoff'. It plans to expand its contact with viewers through its original Korean lineup, which combines completeness and buzz.
`Fine: The Villagers' is a crime drama based on the webcomic of the same name by Yoon Tae-ho, starring Ryu Seung-ryong, Yang Se-jong, and Lim Soo-jung, and tells the story of the village boys surrounding a treasure ship buried in the sea. Pukguksong is a combination of Jun Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won. With John Cho joining here, a combination of Hollywood's top actors was completed. Director Kim Hee-won and writer Shim Jung-kyung joined forces. It is a story about a diplomat and former UN ambassador who has built an international reputation as a diplomat and former UN ambassador chasing the truth behind a huge incident that threatens the future of the Korean Peninsula with an unidentified special agent 'Sanho' (Kang Dong-won).
'Takryu' is a historical drama between Chu Chang-min and Chun Sung-il. Made in Korea is a work with Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung, director Woo Min-ho, and writer Park Eun-kyo. Set in the 1970s, it depicts a fierce battle between two men over wealth and power. CEO Kim Won-guk strongly promoted this during the 'Seoul Spring', but with the support of Disney, 'Made in Korea' was made with all the production capabilities. 'Fate War 49' is a survival entertainment content presented by Disney+ for the first time in a long time, and it is expected to provide new and fresh fun in the form of 49 destiny masters from various fields competing through various missions.
