Jang Young-hye, played by Hong Hwa-yeon in the play, is a star chef with both skills and charisma. He is not just an ambition, but he has completed a three-dimensional figure by delicately expressing the wounds and anxiety behind his cold judgment and straightforward words and actions. It is a completely different determination character from Yeo Eun-nam in the previous work 'Treasure Island', showing another face to viewers.
In particular, Jang Young-hye's presence shone against the backdrop of the 「Ongoeul Food Truck Contest」 in the recent broadcast. In addition to sophisticated cooking skills and solid menu composition, he overwhelmed the stage with collaboration with singer Park Gun, and showed off his dignity as a star chef by showing off his strategic public relations skills.
Despite the tight confrontation with Han Bum-woo (Kang Ha-neul), sharp war of nerves with Han Sun-woo (Bae Na-ra), and fierce competition with Mo Yeon-ju (Ko Min-si), Hong Hwa-yeon balanced the play and drew a strong character in a dense manner. It excellently expresses the cracks of human worries and emotions that permeate in solid charisma, adding to the degree of immersion.
Jang Young-hye seems infinitely perfect, but her desire to be recognized and the wounds of the past are piled up. Hong Hwa-yeon built this character realistically through her facial expressions, speech, and subtle emotional lines, and she received a lot of attention from viewers, saying, "It's convincing in the middle of the car.", "A sympathetic ambitious man" is getting a response.
Now that the competition is over, attention is being paid to whether Jang Young-hye will return to her main job, the restaurant 'Moto', or move toward another opportunity. Amid the development of each episode's reversal, viewers are looking forward to what choice Jang Young-hye will make.
Meanwhile, 'Your Taste' airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. on the ENA channel.
