Disney+ has confirmed the first release date of the action hero 'twlv', based on the story of 12 Eastern Jishin, as August 23.

'Twelve' is a modern reinterpretation of ancient folktales and depicts the battle of 12 angels living in human form to protect the human world. Their war between humans and the forces of evil foretells a new universe by combining East-specific worldviews and character-oriented dramas.




Ma Dong-seok, who proved his global popularity with the series "The Outlaws" and Marvel's "Eternals" will play the role of the leader of 12 angels, which symbolizes "Tiger". Taesan goes back to the battlefield to awaken the forces sealed thousands of years ago and confront the resurrected evil. The evil symbol 'Ogui' is played by Park Hyung-sik. Recently acclaimed in Disney+'s original 『Treasure Island』, he will add tension to the play with his brutal character symbolizing crows.

Seo In-guk transforms into a monkey angel 'Won-seung'. He is a pleasant character who demonstrates his wit and dreams of becoming a next-generation leader. The angel of dragon power 'Mir' was played by Lee Ju-bin. It will show a harmony of deep inner acting and strong action. The angel 'Donnie', which symbolizes the pig, is played by Ko Kyu-pil and is responsible for pleasant energy.

In addition to this, Kang Mi-na presents the team's strategist role with sleek action and warm sensibility with angel 'Gangji', symbolizing dogs, and Sung Yu-bin plays the role of a team's strategist with 'Judol', symbolizing mice. Ahn Ji-hye will make a strong impression by appearing as the angel of the horse 'Malsuk' and newcomer Regina Ray as the angel of the snake 'drop'.




Acting veteran Sung Dong-il takes the center stage of his work by playing the role of 12 angels' manager and God-chosen human 'Marok'.

The Disney+ original series 'Twelve', which consists of a total of eight episodes, will be released every week from August 23.
