SBS Studio Prism and China's OTT platform iQIYI have signed an MOU for business cooperation.

Studio Prism announced on the 24th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with global headquarter iQIYI INTERNATO SINGAPORE, which is in charge of the global business of China's largest OTT platform iQIYI.

First of all, Studio Prism will co-produce the Thai version of 'Running Man' with iQIYI, which serves more than 200 countries around the world. Based on Studio Prism's proven production capabilities and influence, which already has a solid fan base across Asia, it plans to jointly plan and produce global entertainment programs by expanding the scope of cooperation to Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, where SBS's major IP has not yet entered. As the Chinese version 'Running Man', the Vietnamese version 'Running Man', and the Philippine version 'Running Man' were successful earlier, the Thai version 'Running Man' is also highly anticipated. In addition, the two companies plan to actively expand the music content field, such as music and performance businesses, in the future.

Kim Yong-jae, director of the Studio Prism Global Business Center, said "This agreement is an important opportunity to combine Studio Prism's production capabilities with iQIYI's global platform power, and it is especially significant in that strategic collaboration with iQIYI will begin in earnest."
