‘Squid Game 3’ Reveals Main Cast and Tense Character Posters Ahead of Final Showdown

The main characters that will decorate the finale of 'Squid Game 3' have been revealed.

Season 3 of the Netflix series Squid Game is expected to release eight character posters, including Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Lim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, and Jo Yu-ri. Season 3 of the "Squid Game" depicts the final fate of the participants who lost their best friend in a game they played again with their own purpose, "Gi-hoon", who hid himself in the game, and "Frontman", who survived the cruel game.

The released 'Squid Game' Season 3 character poster depicts game participants in a space with colorful drawings, as if they were painted by a child. Unlike the atmosphere of the space that stimulates concentricity, such as rainbows and fish paintings, the expressions of the participants who feel vigilance and conflict convey an atmosphere in which it is impossible to predict what kind of games will be played in the space and what their fate will be in it.

First of all, the grim eyes of his best friend 'Jungbae'(Lee Seo-hwan) and fellow contestants who lost their best friend 'Jung-jae due to the failure of the rebellion led by him raise tension, questioning whether he will be able to end the game and what changes he will undergo in season 3. Meanwhile, 'frontman' (Lee Byung-hun), who took off his mask and participated in the game with 'Gi-hoon', disguised as 'Youngil', foretells a reunion with 'Gi-hoon' as the game's director. The confrontation between the two who reunited as enemies, not colleagues, is expected to be a strong viewing point for Season 3.

In particular, unlike the concentric space where other participants stand, the space of 'Frontman', which stands out in colorful and dark colors, is also a prominent part of the character poster. Looking straight ahead, 'Myeonggi'(Tim Si-wan)'s stiff expression makes us wonder what he will make in season 3 after making selfish choices to survive season 2. The appearance of 'Daeho' (Gang Ha-neul), who is sweeping his hair with a nervous expression, shows the confused feelings he feels facing real fear during the rebellion and increases his immersion.

The confident and strong figure of "Hyunjoo" (Park Sung-hoon) is also noticeable. It is expected that 'Hyunju', who has always shown courageous decisions at the crossroads of life and death, will be able to maintain warm heart and consideration in season 3. On the other hand, 'Yongsik'(Yang Dong-geun) and 'Donja'(Kang Ae-sim) hats show a mixture of fear and curiosity. Attention is also focused on their narratives, whether the story of 'Yongsik', who barely gets through the game, can survive to the end, and where the story of 'Forbidden', who wants his son to live even if he gives up his life, will flow.

Finally, he participates in the game with his full-term body, and is playing each game without being eliminated even though it is difficult. In an increasingly difficult and brutal game, I wonder how he will play the game and what choices he will make. The character posters, which vividly contain images of people with different stories and emotions, once again herald the development of the brutal game and raise expectations for season 3.

Season 3 of the `Squid Game' will be released on Netflix on the 27th.
